Japanese Gender Predictor Chart

Have some fun guessing your baby's gender with our easy-to-use predictor based on traditional Japanese methods!

Expectant parents often use folklore and tradition to guess the sex of their baby. The Japanese Gender Predictor Chart is a fun, popular method to add a little extra excitement to your pregnancy journey.

While this is a beloved guessing game, please remember that it is not based on science and is for entertainment purposes only. Enjoy the mystery!

What is the Japanese Gender Predictor?

The Japanese Gender Predictor is a traditional chart method that predicts a baby's sex based on three pieces of information: the mother's birth month, the father's birth month, and the month the baby was conceived.

How does the method work?

The prediction requires two steps. First, you cross-reference the mother's and father's birth months on a chart to find a 'secret number' or 'magic number'. Second, you take that secret number and cross-reference it with the conception month on a second chart. The result is your prediction of either a 'Boy' or a 'Girl'.

How to Use Our Gender Predictor Tool

Our tool does all the chart cross-referencing for you. Simply provide your details:

  1. Enter the Parents' Birth Months: Select the birth months for both the mother and the father.
  2. Enter the Month of Conception: Provide the month of conception. If you're unsure, you can estimate based on your ovulation date or the start of your last period.

The calculator then automatically finds your secret number and gives you its fun prediction!

Important Disclaimer: For Entertainment Only!

This tool is not based on scientific fact and its accuracy is equivalent to chance (50%). The prediction is just for fun and should not be used to make any financial, personal, or medical decisions. The only scientifically accurate ways to determine your baby's sex are through medical procedures like an NIPT blood test or an ultrasound performed by a healthcare professional.
